Paul brings a unique combination of experience as former in-house counsel to a clinical-stage pharmaceutical company and a former patent examiner, in addition to more than twenty years of experience in private practice. He concentrates on counseling in intellectual property matters including risk assessment, domestic and foreign patent preparation and prosecution, and post-grant proceedings before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board. Over his career, Paul has worked with clients ranging from startups to Fortune 100 companies, principally in the life sciences, chemical and consumer products industries.
