Eunice Chan and Shambhavi Patel Selected as 2021 LCLD Pathfinders

Banner Witcoff attorneys Eunice Chan and Shambhavi Patel were selected to participate in the 2021 class of Pathfinders, a program designed by the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) to train high-performing, early-career attorneys in critical career development strategies including leadership and the building of professional networks.

According to LCLD President Robert J. Grey, Jr., “The LCLD Pathfinder Program offers participants intensive training, online experiential learning, and opportunities to network with peers and esteemed LCLD Fellows and Alumni in small group gatherings. We believe it’s a program that can enhance a person’s career.”

The Pathfinder Program provides participants with practical tools for developing and leveraging internal professional networks, foundational leadership skills, and an understanding of career development strategies. Each Pathfinder is matched with a Program Facilitator, a mentor who plays a key role in helping Pathfinders connect what they learn in the program to the organization in which they work.

This year’s 404 Pathfinders will have access to several new virtual event series, which will provide numerous opportunities for small-group interaction and relationship building with their peers. This is in addition to the exclusive leadership and professional-development curriculum—adapted to the virtual environment—that has always distinguished the LCLD Pathfinder Program. This year’s participants will also have access to a range of additional programming that was developed for the LCLD community in 2020.

At Banner Witcoff, Eunice focuses her intellectual property practice on drafting and prosecuting patent applications. Shambhavi concentrates her practice on a variety of intellectual property matters, including patent prosecution, post-grant proceedings, and patent litigation.

Banner Witcoff is a member law firm of LCLD, an organization founded in 2009 that includes more than 350 corporate chief legal officers and law firm managing partners committed to creating a more diverse and inclusive legal profession. The LCLD Pathfinders Program has trained more than 900 early-career attorneys since it launched in 2015. For more information about LCLD and its Pathfinder Program, go to www.lcldnet.org.
